Kedarnath Helicopter Booking Opens via Official IRCTC Portal
Online booking for helicopter services to Kedarnath will open today at 6 PM, ahead of the Char Dham Yatra 2026. The booking process will be conducted exclusively through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation platform.
In the first phase, tickets will be available for travel between April 22 and June 15, 2026.
Helicopter Services to Begin from April 22
According to the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority CEO Ashish Chauhan, helicopter shuttle operations will begin on April 22, 2026.
Flights will operate from three key helipads:
- Guptkashi
- Sirsi
- Phata
These routes are designed to provide faster and more convenient access for pilgrims traveling to Kedarnath.

Authorities confirmed that all systems are ready for high-demand bookings. Pilgrims are advised to:
- Use only the official IRCTC booking portal
- Avoid third-party agents or unofficial websites
- Be cautious of fraudulent links shared on social media
