The National Happiness Unicorn Awards along with of Commemorative unveiling of partnership of Heartfulness Education Trust (HET) and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) were held at the verdant headquarters of Heartfulness – Kanha Shanti Vanam in the outskirts of Hyderabad over the weekend. The event was witnessed by 10000 attendees present at Kanha Shanti Vanam and millions joining virtually in over 150 countries. The awards institutionalized by Heartfulness Education Trust and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in association with Heartful campus and YourOneLife are the first awards at the national level recognizing the happiest institutions in India. The event was presided over by Mrs. K. Kavitha, Member of Legislative Council Nizamabad and Shri Kamlesh D. Patel (Daaji), President of Shri Ram Mission and Founder of HET along with Dr Anil Sahasrabude, Chairman of AICTE as well as Shri Yogi Kochchar of YourOneLife. It was attended by several Vice Chancellors and Directors of various institutions from across India. The event also saw the representation of all the states in India as the awards were given away.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. K. Kavitha said, “While Telangana is turning the tide, we realize the need to create a strong rib cage that can withhold the growing aspirations and per capita income within the state. We also realise the importance to do that with an equally strong commitment to ensure that Heartfulness and Happiness form the foundation of this growth. The heart of Telengana must dance to the beat of happiness. We are supporting this program not just for Telengana, but are also happy to provide it wings to go pan-India with HET, AICTE, YourOneLife and FSFTI.”
Recently an MOU was signed between Heartfulness Education Trust and YourOneLife by Shri Yogi Kochhar, Dr. Nivedita Shreyans and Mr. Ramesh Krishnan representing the Heartfulness Education Trust. YourOneLife is a unique app created by Shri Yogi Kochchar who was earlier part of the leadership team at Microsoft. Under the scope of the MOU one of the *12 dimensions of the app, namely ‘conscience’ will be curated, updated and managed by Heartfulness Institute; while as the higher education regulator, AICTE will work towards impacting its 9000 plus institutes under its gambit Pan-India and 7 million students. Yet another MoU was signed between HET and AICTE recently the students from institutions under AICTE gain access to the resources and knowledge transfer from HET. The MoU is a milestone in that it empowers the students to research a plethora of literature and material pertinent to consciousness, psychology, and holistic wellness.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kamlesh D. Patel (Daaji) said, “Happiness is something we all strive for in whatever we do. But that happiness does not last long. Shri Krishna explains this to Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita, in chapter 2: Man must rise above the dualities of happiness and unhappiness. One who is unaffected by happiness and unhappiness is eligible for liberation. We can easily notice that no amount of happiness or unhappiness in the material world lasts long, but we are very quick to react to those situations. With Heartfulness, we can instead cultivate a state of mind that brings eternal happiness, because we gradually elevate ourselves to the point where external happiness no longer matters. That is true liberation.
Heartfulness Education Trust is helping students and wisdom seekers to understand the nature of consciousness and the psychology of well-being, backed by science. I am very happy that AICTE has joined hands with HET to encourage students to learn about the science of consciousness that was not accessible at this level before.”
Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of AICTE said, “The digital invasion in the lives of students is impacting their attention spans and slicing, dicing and tossing their minds in the cauldron of social media. It is not only impacting their attention spans, rather their entire endocrinal system and in turn their emotional and physical health are undergoing change. We have approved YourOneLife for introduction in the Indian academics, thanks to the NEP. Interestingly, the app that is also another ‘digital intervention’, counters the ‘digital invasion’. It monitors and calibrates the mind share, mindmap and happiness index of all the students.”
“The app has 12 dimensions. It improves the IQ and EQ of the user and offers them NFTs for using the app. India that has four times the population of the US is 1/8th the size of the US economy. This means that the US is 32 times stronger than us. It happens because US recognizes ‘mindshare’ and not ‘market share’ for promotion of its technology. Today Facebook is a 1Trn USD enterprise with 2.5 bn users. Thereby meaning each user’s ‘captive mindshare’ with Facebook is worth $400 to Facebook,” said Mr. Yogi Kochhar, the Founder of YourOneLife app.
