The White House said Wednesday that President Donald Trump ended his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein years ago and removed him from his Mar-a-Lago club, citing concerns about Epstein’s conduct.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made the remarks during a press briefing, emphasizing what she described as transparency surrounding the administration’s handling of documents related to Epstein.

Leavitt stated that President Trump “has always been consistent” and said he removed Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club because Epstein was, in her words, “a reprehensible individual.”

She added that, unlike others whose names may appear in related files, the president ended his association with Epstein and has been transparent about the matter for years.

According to Leavitt, the release of more than three million documents connected to Epstein and his crimes reflects the administration’s commitment to transparency.
