Mumbai, India — March 2, 2026
Rumors surrounding the trailer release of Dhurandhar 2 have been put to rest. Contrary to multiple media reports suggesting a Holi release on March 3, trade analyst Taran Adarsh has clarified that no such launch is scheduled.
The sequel to Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, has generated strong anticipation among audiences. With its theatrical release just weeks away, speculation about promotional plans intensified over the weekend. However, official sources have dismissed claims of a Tuesday trailer debut.
Trailer Not Releasing on March 3
Taking to social media on Monday, Adarsh addressed circulating reports that the trailer for Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge would drop on March 3, coinciding with Holi celebrations.
He stated that the reports were inaccurate and emphasized that the film’s producers have not announced any trailer launch date. According to Adarsh, he contacted Jio Studios, which confirmed that an official announcement will be made only when the team is ready to unveil the trailer.
Until then, fans will have to wait for formal confirmation from the makers.
Sequel Builds Momentum Ahead of March 19 Release
The original Dhurandhar earned significant box office success and critical attention, establishing strong momentum for the sequel. Actor Ranveer Singh returns in the lead role, further fueling expectations for the follow-up installment.
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The film is set to face competition at the box office from Toxic, setting up a notable clash in the coming weeks.
With promotional activity expected to accelerate soon, industry observers anticipate that the official trailer launch date will be revealed shortly.
For now, the March 3 release speculation has been firmly denied.
