Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s security vehicle met with an accident on Monday afternoon in Mumbai’s Juhu area after a speeding Mercedes collided with an auto rickshaw, which then rammed into the actor’s security car. The crash occurred near Silver Beach Café and caused severe damage to the auto rickshaw, leaving its driver injured.
According to initial reports, Akshay Kumar and his wife, author Twinkle Khanna, were traveling ahead in a separate vehicle while returning home from the airport. Their car was not involved in the impact and sustained no significant damage. The actor remained unharmed.
Police officials reached the spot shortly after the incident and began an on-ground assessment. No official complaint has been filed so far. The injured auto rickshaw driver and one passenger were immediately taken to the hospital for medical assistance. Authorities confirmed that there were no fatalities.
While the auto rickshaw was heavily damaged, Akshay Kumar’s security car suffered only minor dents. The actor’s team has not yet released an official statement regarding the accident.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar is set to appear alongside Saif Ali Khan and Saiyami Kher in Priyadarshan’s upcoming film Haivaan, which is expected to release in theaters in 2026.
