BJP Launches ‘Mission Bengal’ with Customized Post-Bihar Victory Strategy Slug

Kolkata, India — November 18, 2025:
Buoyed by its recent victory in Bihar, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a fresh offensive in West Bengal under a new initiative titled ‘Mission Bengal’, aiming to revive its momentum ahead of the 2026 state elections. The party has deployed a group of senior leaders to craft district-specific strategies and strengthen booth-level outreach.

According to party sources, the focus will be on targeted voter engagement, addressing local grievances, and countering the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) through issue-based campaigns. BJP leaders are expected to hold frequent tours across rural and urban constituencies, emphasizing law and order, corruption concerns, and welfare delivery gaps.

The leadership believes that the Bihar win has energized cadres, and the shift toward a customized, micro-level campaign will help expand the party’s influence in Bengal—especially in regions where it saw setbacks in the 2021 elections.

The TMC dismissed the initiative, calling it “political theatrics,” while BJP leaders insisted that West Bengal remains a “priority battleground” for 2026. More organizational reshuffles and strategy sessions are expected in the coming weeks as the campaign intensifies.
