Xiaomi has entered the electric vehicle market with its highly anticipated SU7, a performance-focused EV that claims to deliver up to 670 kilometers of range with just 15 minutes of charging, drawing significant attention from both tech and automotive sectors.

Ultra-Fast Charging and Battery Technology

The standout feature of the Xiaomi SU7 is its advanced 800V ultra-fast charging system, designed to significantly reduce charging time.

  • 15-minute charge: Up to 670 km of driving range

  • 5-minute quick charge: Around 220 km range

  • Full range (Max variant): Approximately 800 km (CLTC standard)

This level of charging efficiency positions the SU7 among the fastest-charging electric vehicles currently announced.

High Performance and Speed

The SU7 is not only focused on efficiency but also performance:

  • 0–100 km/h acceleration: Just 2.78 seconds

  • Top speed: Up to 265 km/h

These figures place it in competition with premium performance EVs and even some high-end sports cars.

Currently, the Xiaomi SU7 has been introduced for the Chinese market. The company has not announced an official timeline for India or other international markets.
