PM Modi Inspires Youth at Smart India Hackathon 2024

PM Modi participated in the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon 2024 on Wednesday. He addressed the youth who attended the hackathon through video conferencing. The PM said that I have always said one thing from the Red Fort that everyone’s effort. Today’s India is moving forward at a fast pace only due to the efforts of everyone. I was very much looking forward to the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon. Whenever I get a chance to come among young innovators like you, I also get a chance to know, learn and understand a lot. He said that the vision of the youth is the mission of the government. Therefore, whatever my youth want, as a government, we are working in that direction. I have said from the Red Fort that I will bring one lakh such youth in the politics of the country, whose family has not been in politics before.

The PM said that young innovators have a unique vision about 21st century India. Which leads to innovative solutions. When new challenges come before you, you give extraordinary answers. This is the biggest and unique thing. I have participated in hackathons before and you have never disappointed me. You have boosted my morale. The solutions presented by your previous teams are now being used in various ministries, making a significant impact across the country.

He said that every child is special and should get an opportunity to grow and flourish. No one should be left behind or feel neglected. To achieve this, new solutions are constantly needed. The related solutions of your team will change the lives of millions of children.

PM Modi said that India is one of the leading digital economies in the world. Our country is getting digitally connected on a large scale, in such a situation the threat of cyber crime is also increasing continuously, so the solutions you are working on are very important for the future of India. Today drones are being used a lot in different sectors in the country. Drones are nowadays being used to deliver medicines and essential goods to remote areas. But the enemies of the country are using drones extensively to smuggle weapons and drugs into India. It is a matter of happiness that all of you are working with full seriousness to deal with such challenges, for this I congratulate you.

You all know that the future world is going to run on knowledge and innovation. In such a situation, all of you are the hope and inspiration of India. Today the world is saying that the strength of India is our youth power. Our innovative youth is our tech power. Today India’s aspirations demand different thinking to deal with every challenge. We should adopt an innovative approach in every field, make it our habit. Especially with regard to this hackathon, the process is as important as its product.

The PM said that many of the solutions of all the hackathons that have taken place in the past years are proving to be very useful for the people of the country today. These hackathons have solved many big problems. We have implemented the new National Education Policy to develop a scientific outlook among the students. After talking to all of you, my belief has increased that the country is on the right track to become a developed India. The readiness and aim with which you are finding new solutions to India’s problems is amazing.

He said that the generation of the next 25 years of the country is the Amrit generation of India. All of you have the responsibility of a developed India and our government is committed to providing every means, resource to this generation at the right time. We are working at different levels for different age groups, so that everyone gets a chance to understand and learn. One Nation and One Subscription Scheme is one of the unique schemes in the world. Under this, the government is taking subscription of reputed journals, so that no youth of India is deprived of any information.
