The narrative then shifts as IB Director Ajay Sanyal (R. Madhavan) recruits him for a national mission, leading him to operate undercover in Pakistan under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari.
The story continues from the aftermath of Rahman Dakait’s death, with Hamza navigating power struggles and deeper conspiracies. While the premise is compelling, the execution often feels stretched across its nearly four-hour runtime.
Performances: Ranveer Singh Dominates
Ranveer Singh carries the film almost single-handedly, delivering a consistent and powerful performance across action, emotional, and intense sequences.
R. Madhavan adds depth in his limited appearances, often stabilizing the narrative. Rakesh Bedi emerges as a surprise element, especially in the climax.
Arjun Rampal, despite having more screen time than in the first film, lacks the impactful characterization expected. Sanjay Dutt’s role remains limited, while Sara Arjun appears only briefly.
