Moga, Punjab — March 12, 2026

The Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified preparations for its upcoming “Badlav Rally” in Punjab, which is expected to be addressed by Amit Shah on March 14, 2026, at Killi Chahal village in Moga district.

National BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said the rally is expected to trigger a major political movement in Punjab aimed at addressing issues such as corruption, law and order concerns, and governance challenges.

Rally Seen as Major Political Moment

Speaking to media in Moga, Grewal said the event could mark the beginning of a new political phase in Punjab. According to him, the rally will serve as a platform for people to express their concerns about governance and development issues in the state.

He added that the rally carries a message under the slogan “Aao Miljul Ke Badliye Punjab, Sukhi Rahe Saada Punjab,” which emphasizes collective efforts toward building a peaceful, prosperous, and transparent state.

Large-Scale Preparations Underway

According to party leaders, extensive arrangements are being made for the event at Village Killi Chahal. The rally venue is spread across approximately 110 acres, with a large waterproof tent planned to accommodate attendees.

Organizers said the central tent will be around 200 feet wide, including a 100-foot main section and two additional sections of 50 feet each. Large LED screens will also be installed to ensure participants can view and hear the address clearly.

Mobilization Across All Assembly Segments

Grewal stated that BJP leaders and workers across Punjab are actively mobilizing supporters from all 117 Assembly constituencies of the state.

Continuous outreach programs, meetings, and coordination efforts are being conducted to encourage participation from different regions.

As part of the planning, organizers expect around 1,000 participants from each Assembly constituency to attend the rally.

Transport and Logistics Arrangements

To facilitate travel for participants, large-scale transportation arrangements are being planned. Party leaders said that 20–25 buses will be arranged from distant constituencies, while around 50 buses are expected from nearby areas.

Additionally, approximately 100 buses each are planned from the constituencies of Moga, Jagraon, and Ferozepur.

Security Measures for High-Level Visit

Given the participation of the Union Home Minister, security preparations are also being reviewed by senior officials.

Authorities including Special DGP Traffic Amardeep Singh Rai, IGP Faridkot Range Nilambari Jagdale, and SSP Moga Ajay Gandhi have reportedly held meetings to ensure smooth and secure arrangements during the event.

BJP Positions Rally as Call for Change

Grewal said the party views the rally as an opportunity to present what it describes as a political alternative focused on development, transparency, and accountability in Punjab.

He also appealed to residents across the state to participate in the rally and contribute to what he described as a movement aimed at shaping the future of Punjab.

The event is expected to draw significant political attention as national and state-level BJP leaders gather in Moga for the rally on March 14.
