NEW DELHI, India — June 2, 2026
Modi Government 12 Years will be the central theme of a nationwide outreach campaign that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to conduct from June 5 to June 21, marking the completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre. The campaign will focus on highlighting the government’s achievements, strengthening the party’s grassroots organization, and expanding engagement with various sections of society.
The decision was finalized during a key meeting of senior BJP leaders and organizational representatives held at the party’s headquarters extension center in New Delhi. The meeting was chaired by BJP National President Nitin Navin, who reviewed strategies aimed at expanding the party’s reach and enhancing public engagement across the country.
BJP Leaders to Reach Villages Across India
Under the campaign, BJP leaders and workers will travel to villages and local communities to communicate the government’s welfare initiatives, development programs, and policy achievements directly to citizens.
The outreach drive will coincide with major national observances, including World Environment Day on June 5 and International Yoga Day on June 21. Party leaders have also been tasked with interacting with influential voters in every Assembly constituency and gathering feedback, suggestions, and public opinions.
The campaign is scheduled to conclude before June 23, a day observed by the BJP as “Balidan Diwas” (Martyrs’ Day) in remembrance of the sacrifices made by party leaders and workers.
Focus on Organizational Expansion
During the meeting, BJP leaders emphasized the need to ensure that information regarding government schemes and development initiatives reaches citizens effectively. Discussions focused on strengthening communication channels and expanding the party’s organizational network at the grassroots level.
The leadership also reviewed the expansion of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), noting that alliance partners currently govern 22 states across India. Party officials described this as evidence of the NDA’s growing political footprint and organizational strength.
Special attention was given to strengthening booth-level structures, which remain a key component of the BJP’s election and organizational strategy. Senior leaders discussed new methods to improve operational efficiency while incorporating suggestions received from local workers and district-level representatives.
Youth, Women and Professionals to Play Larger Role
The BJP also outlined plans to increase participation from young people by encouraging them to join the organization and take on leadership responsibilities at an early stage.
Expanding women’s representation and leadership opportunities within the party was another major point of discussion. Leaders stressed the importance of creating pathways for greater involvement of women in organizational and political activities.
The party additionally reviewed initiatives aimed at increasing participation from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. BJP leaders said broader social representation remains an important objective as the organization seeks to strengthen its nationwide presence.
Beyond traditional political outreach, the party plans to engage professional groups, including doctors, engineers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and other experts. Officials believe these groups can contribute valuable expertise in areas related to policymaking, governance, and social development.
BJP to Present Report Card of Major Achievements
As part of the campaign, BJP leaders will present what the party describes as a report card of major achievements accomplished during the Modi government’s tenure.
Among the key issues expected to be highlighted are the abrogation of Article 370, the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), India’s digital transformation, and the country’s rise to become one of the world’s largest economies.
The party also plans to showcase welfare initiatives such as the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, affordable housing programs, sanitation infrastructure expansion, and the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme.
According to party leaders, the campaign will emphasize achievements in social welfare, infrastructure development, economic growth, and governance reforms over the past 12 years.
Strategy for the Future
Concluding the meeting, BJP National President Nitin Navin called upon party office-bearers and grassroots workers to actively participate in the outreach drive. He emphasized that strengthening booth-level structures and reaching new social groups would remain central to the party’s future strategy.
The 15-day campaign is expected to serve both as a public engagement initiative and an organizational exercise aimed at consolidating the BJP’s presence ahead of future political challenges.
