The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted rainfall in many states, including Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bihar, on February 13th.
Delhi’s Forecast: The national capital woke up to a light haze this morning, accompanied by cool breezes and looming clouds. According to the IMD, some parts of Delhi may experience light showers or drizzles on Tuesday and Wednesday. During this period, temperatures are expected to range between 9 to 10 degrees Celsius for the minimum and around 24 degrees Celsius for the maximum.
Anticipated Weather Patterns: Over the next 24 hours, the states of Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Northern Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and Eastern Uttar Pradesh may witness light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms. Additionally, sporadic hailstorms are also possible in parts of South-Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Eastern Madhya Pradesh. The higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Arunachal Pradesh might experience light rain and snowfall. Tamil Nadu may see light showers as well.
Snowfall Outlook for Uttarakhand: Changes in Uttarakhand’s weather have been observed, with a possibility of light snowfall in the hill stations today, particularly in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Pithoragarh, at elevations exceeding 3,500 meters.
Valentine’s Day Rain: The IMD has issued several alerts regarding rainfall. With strong winds and thunderstorms, Bihar may experience rainfall on February 14th. Similarly, West Bengal’s Gangetic plains are likely to be affected. Odisha may see rain on the 15th and 16th of February, while Uttar Pradesh may experience showers on the 14th.
