UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in New Delhi on Monday for an official visit aimed at strengthening the rapidly growing partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally received the UAE President at the Delhi airport, welcoming him with warmth and ceremony.
The leaders engaged in a brief conversation at the airport before departing together in the same car, a gesture seen as a symbol of the deepening friendship and trust between the two nations.
Visit Seen as Significant for India–UAE Relations
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s trip is viewed as strategically important as both countries continue to expand their cooperation across multiple sectors.

PM Modi and UAE President Leave Airport Together
Following the welcoming ceremony, PM Modi and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed departed the airport in the same vehicle, showcasing the closeness of the India–UAE relationship. Officials said the gesture highlighted the trust, warmth, and personal rapport shared between the two leaders.
The visit is expected to further deepen India–UAE cooperation across trade, technology, infrastructure, and regional security. Analysts say it marks another major step forward in elevating India–UAE relations into a stronger and more enduring partnership.
