Munich, Germany — February 15, 2026
Global tech giants are joining forces. Fifteen leading companies from 10 countries have launched the Trusted Tech Alliance, a new international coalition focused on setting trusted standards for AI, cloud systems, and digital infrastructure.
Announced in Munich, the initiative includes industry leaders such as Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Ericsson, Nokia, SAP, NTT, and India’s Jio Platforms. Executives say the alliance will help ensure secure, transparent, and verified technologies across borders.
Leaders stress that global cooperation is essential as digital networks become increasingly interconnected and critical to economies and governments worldwide.
Global Collaboration Seen as Critical for Secure Infrastructure
Brad Smith, Vice Chair and President of Microsoft, said that in today’s global environment, cooperation among like-minded organizations is essential to maintain trust and high technological standards across borders.
Similarly, Börje Ekholm, CEO of Ericsson, emphasized that no single company or country can independently create a fully secure and trusted digital ecosystem, stressing that global collaboration is necessary.
Five Principles to Guide the Alliance
Member companies agreed to operate under five core principles aimed at strengthening transparency, reliability, and security across technology ecosystems:
-
Transparent corporate governance and ethical conduct
-
Secure development processes
-
Independent evaluation and verification
-
Resilient supply chains
-
Continuous security monitoring
These principles are intended to help governments, enterprises, and users identify trustworthy technology providers and strengthen confidence in digital infrastructure.
