PM Modi’s Republic Day Message
Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video message on X (formerly Twitter), calling upon citizens to look toward the future while strengthening India’s democratic foundations.
“Republic Day is a powerful symbol of our freedom, Constitution, and democratic values,” the prime minister said. “This festival inspires us with fresh energy and determination to move forward together in nation-building.”
PM Modi also quoted lines from Satyagraha Gita, a work by noted modern Sanskrit writer Pandita Kshamarav Rao, emphasizing moral strength and national progress. He noted that a nation cannot advance while remaining trapped in the mindset of subjugation.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh conveyed his greetings, paying tribute to the architects of the Constitution and the sacrifices made to uphold India’s sovereignty and unity.
