Ranveer Singh prepares to launch his most ambitious solo venture yet with Pralay, following the success of his recent historical film Dhurandhar.
The zombie-action thriller, set against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic, carries an estimated budget of ₹300 crore, making it the most expensive solo project in Singh’s career.
Jai Mehta, known for co-directing the acclaimed web series Scam 1992, helms the film. Shooting expects to begin between May and June 2026, with a potential release in late 2027.
Singh also steps into a new role as co-producer under his banner, Maa Kasam Films.
Reports suggest South Indian actress Kalyani Priyadarshan may make her Bollywood debut opposite Singh in the film.
To prioritize Pralay, Singh has reportedly stepped away from Don 3.
Additionally, Singh and director Aditya Dhar discuss reuniting for a mythological project, with preparations already underway.
