Prime Minister Narendra Modi, currently on a tour of Gujarat, marked International Women’s Day with a powerful address at a public event in Navsari. Amidst a security setup exclusively managed by women police personnel, a historic first in India, PM Modi emphasized the critical role of women in India’s development. He proclaimed, “My life account has the blessings of crores of mothers and sisters, and I am the richest person in the world.”

Gujarat Safal and Gujarat Maitri Schemes Launched
On this occasion, PM Modi launched two major schemes aimed at furthering women’s empowerment in Gujarat:
