Middle East – : The conflict between Israel and Iran has escalated dangerously, shaking the entire Middle East. Late Friday night, Iran launched over 150 ballistic missiles at Israel. Sirens wailed across cities like Tel Aviv, and powerful explosions rocked the skies. In retaliation, Israeli forces struck back, targeting over 200 military sites inside Iran.

The Iranian government has declared that further talks with the US on the nuclear deal are now “meaningless.” Iran’s military has named the attack “Severe Punishment Operation.” Initial reports confirm three deaths and more than 70 injuries in Israel, with several buildings heavily damaged.

Iranian missiles also targeted Israel’s Ministry of Defense, while Israel’s airstrikes destroyed the upper section of Iran’s major nuclear site at Natanz. In an emergency UN meeting, satellite images and damage reports were presented, confirming large-scale destruction.

Israel Warns: This Is Just the Beginning
Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz said Iran has crossed a red line by attacking civilian areas. “We will continue to protect our citizens, and Iran will pay a heavy price,” he said. The US has stepped in by deploying warships and missile defense systems closer to Israel. American forces intercepted several Iranian missiles mid-air.

Iran Responds: We Only Hit the Bases That Attacked Us First
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) stated that the missile strikes were aimed only at Israeli military bases involved in the earlier attacks on Iran. They also confirmed targeting weapons manufacturing sites and military installations, claiming that dozens of missiles hit their intended targets accurately.

With the fear of further attacks, residents in Jerusalem and nearby areas have started stocking up on food, water, and medical supplies. Shelters are being opened, hospitals are discharging stable patients, and emergency blood drives are underway. Palestinian cities in the West Bank are under lockdown.

Airspace Closed, Flights Diverted
Due to the ongoing conflict, Iran has shut down its airspace. Indian airline IndiGo issued a statement saying that flight routes may change and travel time could increase. Passengers have been advised to check flight status before heading to the airport.

UN and World Leaders Call for Peace
UN Secretary-General urged both nations to stop the violence immediately, stating, “Enough is enough. It’s time for peace and diplomacy.” The planned UN conference on a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine has been postponed due to rising tensions.

Ayatollah Khamenei Vows Revenge
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a strong statement promising revenge against Israel. “Don’t think this ends here. This is just the beginning. Iran will not let Israel escape punishment for its crimes,” he said.

Missiles Near Fordow Nuclear Site, 18 Dead in New Strikes
Israel reportedly struck over 11 locations inside Iran in the latest wave of attacks, including near the Fordow nuclear enrichment facility and radar sites. According to Iranian state media, 18 people were killed, including one Red Crescent aid worker.
