Los Angeles — : The People are protesting against the steps taken by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in California. The Trump administration deployed the National Guard in Los Angeles to deal with the protesters. However, Trump’s decision is being criticized a lot.

At the same time, Trump said on Monday that he has made a ‘very good decision’ by deploying the National Guard in California. He said in a post on Truth Social, if we had not done this, Los Angeles would have been completely destroyed. Trump also indicated that he would support the arrest of the Governor of California.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration has announced that the US Army will temporarily deploy about 700 Marines in Los Angeles until more National Guard soldiers reach there. An American official, on condition of anonymity, said that a battalion would be sent on temporary duty until more National Guard soldiers reach the spot.

Protesters have been protesting for the last four days. The Democrats are also supporting this protest against the policies of deporting illegal immigrants living in the country.

A lawsuit will be filed against Trump: Gavin Newsom

Meanwhile, California officials will challenge Trump’s decision to take control of the state’s National Guard and deploy it on the streets of Los Angeles in court.

California Governor Gavin Newsom posted on X on Monday, “This is exactly what Trump wanted. He fueled the fire and illegally federalized the National Guard. We are going to sue him.”
