New Delhi — : After Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army is engaged in increasing its strength, for this reason the Indian Defense Ministry is considering the proposal to buy three regiments of Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM) for deployment on the China and Pakistan border. The estimated cost of this deal is around Rs 30 thousand crores. This air defense system is completely indigenous.

QRSAM is capable of stopping attacks by opponents both during day and night. Officials said that this air defense system has been successfully tested. It has been made by the Defense Research and Development Organization. He said that QRSAM can be easily moved from one place to another.

According to the information, the QRSAM system has the ability to find moving targets. It can track the opponent. Also, it can fire in a very short time interval. According to the report, its range is 30 kilometers. The QRSAM system will work to support existing air defense systems like Akash.

Many countries of the world are now showing interest in buying India’s indigenous air defense system.
