Toronto – The allegations leveled by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada have been rejected by Canadian Police Commissioner Mike Duhem himself. Actually PM Trudeau had claimed that India was involved in Nijjar’s murder, but Duhem’s recent statement has made it clear that there is no concrete evidence of India’s role in the case.
Investigation going on in many directions
However, Duhem said that his investigation is going on in many directions and he said, we talk on the basis of clues and evidence. This statement of the police chief is inconsistent with the earlier claims of PM Trudeau and raises questions on the credibility of the Canadian police. Nijjar was considered a major supporter of the Khalistan movement, while the Indian government had termed him a terrorist. Nijjar’s murder has further deteriorated relations between Indian and Canadian officials, deepening the diplomatic deadlock.
