New Delhi, India — April 30, 2026

The Indian box office witnessed mixed momentum on Wednesday, with some films slowing down after strong runs while others continued to show resilience. From Bhoot Bangla crossing the ₹100 crore mark to Dhurandhar 2 maintaining its dominance, the midweek collections reflect shifting audience trends.

‘Bhoot Bangla’ Sees Noticeable Drop After Strong Run

Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla has officially entered the ₹100 crore club but showed a decline in collections on its 13th day. The film earned ₹3.25 crore on Wednesday, down from ₹4.35 crore on Day 12.

Despite the dip, the film’s total box office collection stands at an impressive ₹124.50 crore, indicating sustained audience interest even as weekday fatigue sets in.

‘Michael’ Continues Steady Run in India

The Hollywood biographical drama Michael, based on the life of pop icon Michael Jackson, continues to draw Indian audiences. On its sixth day, the film collected ₹2.30 crore, slightly lower than ₹2.40 crore on Tuesday.

With a total collection of ₹23.45 crore in India, the film is maintaining a stable trajectory, driven by strong fan interest and global appeal.

‘Ginny Weds Sunny 2’ Struggles to Gain Momentum

Romantic sequel Ginny Weds Sunny 2 continues to underperform at the box office. The film earned just ₹9 lakh on Day 6, compared to ₹10 lakh the previous day.

Its total collection currently stands at ₹1.52 crore, reflecting a disappointing run since its release and limited audience traction.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ Maintains Blockbuster Status

In contrast, Dhurandhar 2 continues its extraordinary box office journey even after six weeks in theaters. The film collected ₹1 crore on Day 42, slightly down from ₹1.30 crore on Day 41.

Its total earnings have now reached a staggering ₹1,133.94 crore, solidifying its position as one of the highest-grossing Indian films in recent times.

‘Dacoit’ Sees Sharp Decline

The South Indian film Dacoit has seen its collections shrink significantly. On its 20th day, the film managed ₹23 lakh, with total earnings standing at ₹35.89 crore.

After an initial run, the film appears to be losing momentum quickly at the box office.
