Tuesday Box Office Report: Dhurandhar Continues Its Dominance
The Indian box office saw a clear winner on Tuesday as Dhurandhar continued its extraordinary run, outperforming both new Hindi releases and Hollywood films currently playing in theaters.
While Kartik Aaryan’s romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri showed a sharp decline, Hollywood titles Avatar: Fire and Ash and Anaconda delivered mixed results.
Kartik Aaryan’s Film Sees Major Drop on Day 6
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri collected ₹1.75 crore on its sixth day at the box office. The film had opened at ₹7.75 crore on Day 1 but has seen a steady fall since then.
The movie’s total domestic collection now stands at ₹27 crore, indicating slowing momentum during its first week.
Dhurandhar’s Historic Box Office Run Continues
Dhurandhar remains the biggest performer in theaters even after 26 days of release. The film earned ₹11.25 crore on Tuesday alone, showing exceptional hold.
As per Sacnilk estimates, the film’s total box office collection has reached a massive ₹712.25 crore, making it one of the highest-grossing releases of the year and the undisputed leader at the box office.
Hollywood Films: Avatar Holds Strong, Anaconda Struggles
James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash has completed 12 days in Indian cinemas. The film earned ₹5.15 crore on Tuesday, taking its total India collection to ₹148.08 crore. The film is expected to cross the ₹150 crore milestone soon.
On the other hand, Anaconda continues to struggle. On its sixth day, the film managed to collect only ₹43 lakh, with its earnings now restricted to lakhs within days of release.
