Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar continues its historic run at the global box office. The spy thriller, starring Ranveer Singh, has officially crossed the ₹1,000 crore worldwide collection mark in just 21 days, cementing its place among Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters.
The makers confirmed the milestone on Thursday, stating that Dhurandhar has amassed a total worldwide gross of ₹1,006.70 crore within three weeks of its release. The film’s box office momentum shows no signs of slowing, with collections steadily rising each day.
According to official figures, Dhurandhar earned ₹218 crore in its opening week, followed by ₹261.50 crore in the second week. Between days 15 and 20, the film added ₹160.70 crore to its total. On Christmas Day alone, the film collected ₹28.60 crore globally. In India, the movie’s total domestic collection now stands at ₹668.80 crore.
With this achievement, Dhurandhar has become the fourth Hindi film to enter the prestigious ₹1,000 crore club, joining the ranks of Dangal, Pathaan, and Jawan. No other Bollywood film has managed to cross this milestone so far.
Industry analysts note that while several South Indian films have previously crossed the ₹1,000 crore mark worldwide, Dhurandhar’s entry into the club marks a significant moment for Hindi cinema. Meanwhile, Animal is expected to join the elite list soon, with its current worldwide collection reported at ₹915 crore ahead of its Japan release.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a high-octane spy thriller inspired by real-life events. While rooted in true incidents, the film takes creative liberties to enhance cinematic appeal. Alongside Ranveer Singh, the ensemble cast includes Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in key roles.
With record-breaking numbers and sustained audience interest, Dhurandhar has firmly established itself as one of the biggest cinematic successes in Bollywood history.
