After the weekend rush, the Indian box office witnessed a noticeable slowdown on Wednesday, with collections dropping across both new releases and ongoing performers. Films such as Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos and Rahu Ketu failed to maintain momentum, while big-ticket titles like Dhurandhar and The Raja Saab also saw weekday declines.
‘Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos’ Struggles Midweek
The recently released Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos earned ₹19 lakh on Wednesday, down from ₹30 lakh on Tuesday. The film’s total domestic collection now stands at ₹5.29 crore. Produced under **Aamir Khan’s banner, the film also features the superstar in an acting role but has struggled to attract weekday audiences.
‘Rahu Ketu’ Sees a Clear Decline
Bollywood release Rahu Ketu recorded a Wednesday collection of ₹38 lakh, slipping from ₹54 lakh the previous day. With this, the film’s total earnings have reached ₹5.87 crore. The movie stars Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma in lead roles.
‘Dhurandhar’ Remains Strong Despite Drop
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar collected ₹1.15 crore on Wednesday, compared to ₹1.65 crore on Tuesday. Released on December 5, 2025, the film continues to show exceptional longevity. Its total box office collection has reached an impressive ₹829.40 crore. The sequel, Dhurandhar 2, is scheduled for theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
‘The Raja Saab’ Records Midweek Slowdown
South Indian blockbuster The Raja Saab earned ₹48 lakh on Wednesday, down from ₹90 lakh on Tuesday. Despite the drop, the film’s cumulative collection stands at ₹141.98 crore. The film stars Prabhas, along with Sanjay Dutt and Zarina Wahab.
