US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti has said that the Biden administration is satisfied with India’s accountability in the case of conspiracy to murder Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. This statement of Eric Garcetti has come at a time when recently the Foreign Ministry of Russia alleged that America is accusing India without any credible evidence. Russia also said that America is disrespecting India as a state. Only after Russia’s statement has the US Ambassador’s statement come out, in which he said that he is satisfied with India’s investigation.

It is noteworthy that Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh has dual citizenship of America and Canada. He often keeps spitting fire against India. Recently, America claimed that a conspiracy was being hatched to kill Pannu in America, which has been busted. Indian citizen Nikhil Gupta was arrested in Czech Republic in this case. America claimed that Nikhil Gupta was given the responsibility of killing Pannu by an Indian government official. For this, Nikhil Gupta was conspiring to kill Pannu with hired killers in America. However, the name of the Indian government official was not disclosed in the US documents. A Washington Post report claimed that the Indian officer is an officer of India’s intelligence agency RAW. However, India’s Foreign Ministry had rejected these media reports as baseless.

Speaking at an event organized by the US think tank ‘Council on Foreign Relations’, Eric Garcetti said, ‘When I talk about ups and downs in relations, this is the first big fight in our relations. I have to say that the Biden government is satisfied with India’s accountability in the demands we have made so far. However, he also said that any attempt to kill an American citizen on American soil is a red line for the US.

When US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller was asked during the press conference about the investigation of Gurpatwant Singh Pannu case, he also refused to comment on it. He said that the investigation is still going on and until the allegations are proved, he will not say anything on it. Miller said that ‘the allegations and facts of the case are publicly available, we will not talk about them until they are proven in front of a jury. This matter is still in the court. It is noteworthy that recently America had said that we are waiting for India’s investigation report, but as soon as Russia’s Foreign Department accused America in Pannu case, it seems that America has come under pressure and now He is making statements regarding the Pannu case with caution.
