An encounter took place between the police and Naxalites in the Naxal-affected Tumalpaad forests of Chintagufa police station area of Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, in which one Naxalite was killed. This encounter took place with a joint team of DRG (District Reserve Guard), District Force and Bastar Fighters. Police have also recovered weapons and Naxalite material from the encounter site.
According to the information, an encounter took place between the police and Naxalites in the dense forests of Tumalpaad in Chintagufa area. One Naxalite was killed in the retaliatory action of the police force and his body has been recovered.
A significant success has been achieved against the Naxalites with the joint action of DRG, District Force and Bastar Fighters. ( PLC & GT )
