London – A black woman Kemi badenoch will now replace Rishi Sunak in the Conservative Party, one of Britain’s largest parties. She has been elected as the leader of Britain’s Conservative Party. She is the first black woman to hold this position in Britain. 44-year-old Kemi badenoch got 57 percent votes in the election for the post of party leader and defeated Robert Jenrick. Leader of the opposition Labour Party and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also congratulated Kemi badenoch on this victory.
Starmer said that it is a matter of pride for the whole country that a black woman has been elected as the party leader. At the same time, Kemi badenoch has said that she does not like to give much importance to her ethnic identity. When she was questioned about this in the Conservative Party conference, she said that the color of skin, hair or eyes should not be given much importance.
