Brampton and Surrey – There is tension in the relations between India and Canada. Meanwhile, India has taken a big decision and closed two consulates in Canada. This decision has been taken after the attacks by a mob of Khalistani supporters on two consulates in Brampton and Surrey, Canada on 2 and 3 November. In fact, these consulates were not even being provided basic security by Canadian security agencies.
The Indian Consulate General in Toronto said in a post on Instagram that it has been decided to close some consulates in view of the inability of Canadian security agencies to provide even minimum security. Let us tell you that on 2 and 3 November, a pro-Khalistan mob entered the premises of the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton and attacked the devotees there. The Peel Police of Ontario province had failed to take action against the Khalistani attackers.
