India A Women cruised into the final of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 after overpowering Sri Lanka A by five wickets in the first semi-final at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok. Captain Radha Yadav starred with both bat and ball, claiming four wickets before finishing unbeaten to seal the chase.
Sri Lanka A, electing to bat first after winning the toss, struggled against India’s disciplined bowling attack and were bundled out for 118 in 19.4 overs. Radha Yadav was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4/19, while Prema Rawat and Tanuja Kanwar chipped in with two wickets each. Sanjana Kavindi top-scored for Sri Lanka with 31.
In reply, India A chased down the target comfortably in just 13.3 overs, finishing at 119/5. Opener Vrinda Dinesh smashed a quickfire 42, providing a solid foundation, while Radha Yadav remained not out on 31 off 18 balls (including seven fours) to guide her side home with 39 balls to spare.
Earlier in the day, Bangladesh A secured their spot in the final with a commanding 54-run victory over Pakistan A in the second semi-final. Batting first after losing the toss, Bangladesh posted 110/8 in their 20 overs, thanks to an unbeaten 40 from captain Fahima Khatun.
Pakistan A crumbled in the chase, collapsing to 56 all out in 16.4 overs, handing Bangladesh a decisive win.
The final between India A and Bangladesh A is scheduled for Sunday, February 22, at the same venue in Bangkok — a rematch of the 2023 edition where India emerged victorious.
