It is raining heavily in many states of the country. Where a few days ago people in many states of India were troubled by the heat, now in many states of the country including North India, people have been alerted due to heavy rains, storms and storms for the next 2 days.

Monsoon has knocked across the country, after which some states have got relief from the scorching heat. At the same time, there is a scene of devastation due to heavy rains in some states. At present, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for heavy rains in many states of the country.

Heavy rain alert has been issued in 20 states in the country. Alert has been issued in many districts from Maharashtra to Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan. On the other hand, alert has also been issued in Jammu, Himachal and Uttarakhand. On the other hand, along with flood-hit Assam, there are reports of heavy rains in several other North East states as well.

On the second day of arrival of monsoon in Delhi, heavy rain occurred in many areas late night. After the rain, there has also been a drop in the temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain for four to five days in East-Central, North-West and Western India. Delhi may also receive light to moderate rainfall for five days. On Tuesday, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Delhi. This means that there could be moderate rainfall on Tuesday.

According to India Meteorological Department, Yellow Alert has been issued in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram and Wayanad districts on Tuesday. While an ‘Orange’ alert has been issued for Tuesday in Idukki district.

For Tuesday (June 27) in Uttarakhand, the department has issued a yellow alert for some areas. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in these areas. According to Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of rain in most areas for the next four days.

Dehradun, Nainital, Pauri, Tehri, Champawat, Haridwar, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh may receive heavy rainfall today. Orange alert has been issued regarding this. In other districts, there may be intense showers with thunder and lightning at some places. ( PLC/GT )
