Triumphant Conclusion of India's Largest Global Health & Wellness Festival at Birla Auditorium Jaipur 2026

Jaipur, Rajasthan — March 6, 2026

The two-day Global Health & Wellness Festival at Birla Auditorium concluded as a resounding success, drawing thousands to celebrate holistic health, yoga, natural therapies, and sustainable living. Organized jointly by Just Health & Wellness and Gaumaya, with key support from Rotary District 3056 and Bhardwaj Foundation, the event positioned itself as India’s largest-ever health and wellness gathering.

Dr. P. M. Bhardwaj, Chairman of Rotary District 3056’s Skill Development Committee and Chief Advisor to Gaumaya, described the festival as a landmark achievement. A former Managing Director/Chairman of four public sector undertakings under the Government of India and a nationally recognized motivational and management expert, Dr. Bhardwaj praised event coordinators Himmat Singh and Dr. Sitaram Gupta for their outstanding efforts in bringing together specialists in health, yoga, naturopathy, and lifestyle wellness.

The festival featured engaging sessions, including a special panel for senior citizens where Dr. Bhardwaj shared insights. Renowned classical dancer and actress Sudha Chandran honored Rotary District 3056 Governor Dr. Pragya Mehta and Prof. Renu Joshi during the event. National Service Scheme (NSS) State Director S. P. Bhatnagar and officer Vishal Gautam were also recognized, while NSS students from S. S. Jain Subodh PG College actively participated.

A major highlight was Gaumaya’s groundbreaking environmental initiative. The organization secured approval from the Gold Standard Foundation in Geneva, Switzerland, becoming the world’s first project to earn carbon credits for reducing pollution from cremations and last rites in India. This step aims to bring funeral-related emissions toward net-zero, addressing a significant source of global warming.

Dr. Sitaram Gupta, founder of Gaumaya, has established 20 world records in a short span through events promoting environmental conservation, cow protection (gausamvardhan), and health awareness. Attendees extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Gupta and his team for these accomplishments.

In closing remarks, Dr. Bhardwaj offered prayers for Dr. Gupta’s continued strength, expressing hope that his work in environment, cow welfare, and health would inspire global change.

The festival successfully promoted health awareness, community involvement, and innovative wellness practices, leaving a lasting impact on participants and reinforcing Jaipur’s role in advancing holistic and sustainable living.
