Eternal Ltd, the parent company of Zomato and Blinkit, reported a stellar financial performance for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025–26, significantly surpassing market expectations.
The company posted a 346% year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit to ₹174 crore, compared with ₹39 crore in the same quarter last year, driven largely by strong growth in its quick commerce business.
Revenue Nearly Triples
Eternal Ltd delivered exceptional top-line growth, with revenue from operations soaring 196% to ₹17,292 crore, up from ₹5,833 crore a year earlier.
The company also reported strong operating performance, with adjusted EBITDA rising 160% to ₹429 crore, reflecting improved efficiency and scale across its businesses.
Blinkit Leads Growth Momentum
The standout performer for the quarter was Blinkit, the company’s quick commerce arm:
- Net Order Value (NOV) surged 95.4% year-on-year
- The company added 216 new stores, taking the total count to 2,243 stores
Blinkit’s rapid expansion and rising demand for quick delivery services played a key role in driving overall growth.
Zomato Core Business Remains Strong
The food delivery business under Zomato also maintained steady momentum, posting an 18.8% year-on-year growth, reflecting continued strength in its core operations.
Going-Out Segment Expands
Eternal Ltd’s “going-out” segment, branded as District, recorded 46.5% growth in NOV, highlighting increasing consumer spending in dining and entertainment categories.
Market Reaction
Following the results, shares of Eternal Ltd showed resilience. After opening lower, the stock staged a recovery to close at around ₹258.28, up approximately 1.09%, indicating positive investor sentiment toward the company’s growth outlook.
