Effect of northern cold winds, rolled three degrees.The mountains of North India have received good snowfall in the last few days. Presently the wind direction has also become northern. According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of further drop in the minimum temperature on Sunday. However, a western disturbance will start affecting the weather in North India from Sunday. Due to this, there will be a slight increase in the night temperature from Monday. On the other hand, the lowest temperature of 12 degree Celsius in Madhya Pradesh was recorded in Nagaon on Saturday, which was one degree Celsius less than the minimum of 13 degree Celsius in hill station Pachmarhi.
According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, the minimum temperature of the capital was recorded at 14.5 degree Celsius on Saturday, which was one degree Celsius less than normal. Also, it was three degrees Celsius less than Friday’s minimum temperature of 17.5 degrees Celsius.
The city recorded a maximum temperature of 30.3 degrees Celsius on Friday, which was 1.4 degrees Celsius lower than Thursday’s maximum temperature of 31.7 degrees Celsius.
Ajay Shukla, former senior meteorologist of the Meteorological Center, told that at present no weather system affecting the weather of Madhya Pradesh is active.
The wind direction has also become north and north-east. Due to continuous cold winds coming from North India, the minimum and maximum temperature is falling. The night temperature is likely to drop further on Sunday. On the other hand, from Sunday, a western disturbance will start affecting the weather of North India. Due to this, the maximum and minimum temperature will start increasing gradually. PLC/GT
