The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially announced the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) Results 2026 today at 11:00 a.m., ending the wait for millions of students across India.
Students who appeared for the board examinations can now access their results and download their digital marksheets through the official portals. To log in, candidates must use their Unique ID and Index Number, both of which are printed on their admit cards.
Where and How to Check Results
Results are available on the official CISCE result portal. Students can follow these steps:
- Visit the official results website
- Click on the ICSE (Class 10) or ISC (Class 12) result link
- Enter your Unique ID and Index Number
- Click “Submit”
- View and download your marksheet for future reference
The examinations were conducted between February and April 2026. ICSE Class 10 exams were held from February 17 to March 30, while ISC Class 12 exams took place from February 12 to April 3.
Students Advised to Verify Marksheet Details Carefully
After downloading the results, students are urged to review all details on their marksheets thoroughly. This includes:
- Candidate’s name
- Unique ID number
- Date of birth
- School name
- Subject-wise marks and grades
- Pass/fail status and overall percentage
Any discrepancies should be reported immediately to the respective school or CISCE authorities to ensure timely correction.
Minimum Passing Criteria Explained
To pass the ICSE Class 10 examination, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject. For ISC Class 12, the minimum passing requirement is 40% per subject.
Students who do not meet the passing criteria in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to appear for improvement examinations, as per CISCE guidelines.
Rechecking Window Opens May 1
CISCE has also announced that the rechecking (re-evaluation) application process will begin on May 1, 2026. Students dissatisfied with their results can apply online within the prescribed window.
Previous Year Performance
In 2025, CISCE declared results on April 30, with pass percentages remaining exceptionally high. ISC (Class 12) recorded a pass rate of 99.02%, while ICSE (Class 10) achieved 99.09%.
