Several highly anticipated films are set to release in Indian theaters tomorrow, Friday, January 30, 2026, while Sunny Deol-starrer Border 2 is expected to maintain strong box office performance in its second weekend.
Among the major new releases is Mardaani 3, featuring Rani Mukerji reprising her role as Shivani Shivaji Roy. The film has received a UA 16+ certification and has generated positive early buzz among critics for its action-drama elements.
Gandhi Talks, a silent black comedy starring Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Arvind Swamy, is also arriving in theaters. The film has drawn attention for its visual storytelling and music composed by A.R. Rahman despite the absence of dialogue.
Hollywood survival thriller Send Help is making its India debut, carrying a strong 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Regional cinema offerings include Marathi titles Ranpati Shivray: Swari Agra and Punha Ekda Saade Maade Teen, Malayalam film Valattu Vasathe Kallan, and Telugu release Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
Trade analysts predict Border 2 will continue to lead the box office. The war drama has already crossed ₹230 crore in India and ₹292 crore worldwide. It retains over 15,000 shows nationwide heading into the weekend.
Estimates suggest Border 2 could achieve a lifetime domestic collection between ₹350 crore and ₹600 crore.
Meanwhile, long-running hit Dhurandhar, now in its final phase after more than 50 days, has secured its place in the ₹1,000 crore club.
