Senior BJP leader and advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan on Tuesday said that the upcoming “Badlav Rally” to be addressed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Moga district on March 14, 2026, could become a significant political moment in Punjab.

BJP Mobilizing Support Across Punjab

According to Grewal, the BJP leadership and party workers have been actively reaching out to citizens and organizing meetings across several areas of Ludhiana district to encourage participation in the rally.

Over the past two weeks, Grewal and his associates have conducted a series of grassroots meetings across multiple Assembly constituencies in Ludhiana, including Khanna, Samrala, Sahnewal, Ludhiana East, Ludhiana South, Atam Nagar, Ludhiana Central, Ludhiana West, Ludhiana North, Gill, Payal, Dakha, Raikot and Jagraon.

These meetings were held in several villages and urban localities to engage with party workers, local leaders, youth groups, farmers, traders and residents.

Enthusiasm Among Party Workers and Supporters

Grewal said that the meetings witnessed “significant enthusiasm” among BJP workers and supporters who are preparing for the upcoming rally.

He noted that volunteers and local leaders are coordinating efforts to mobilize participants from both urban areas and rural communities.

According to him, preparations for the rally are underway in multiple districts, with supporters planning to travel to Moga to attend the event.

Rally Expected to Draw Large Crowd

The BJP leader said the rally is expected to attract a large gathering of people from different parts of Punjab.

He described the event as an opportunity for citizens to express their aspirations related to governance, development, and public policy issues affecting the state.

Political observers note that major rallies addressed by senior national leaders often play a key role in shaping political discourse and mobilizing support ahead of future elections.

Focus on Governance and Development

Grewal said many people attending the rally are expected to raise concerns related to governance, law and order, development, and economic opportunities in Punjab.

He expressed confidence that the event would encourage broader political discussions about the state’s future and governance priorities.

Amit Shah’s Visit to Punjab

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address the Badlav Rally in Moga on March 14, where he is expected to speak about national policies, governance initiatives and development plans.

Political analysts say the rally will likely attract attention across Punjab’s political landscape as parties continue preparing for upcoming electoral contests in the state.
