PM Modi Highlights India’s Firm Anti-Terror Policy
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday reaffirmed India’s unwavering commitment to dismantling the entire ecosystem of terrorism, marking the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor.
In a statement shared on social media, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the courage, precision, and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces, calling the operation a defining moment in India’s fight against terrorism.
Operation Sindoor: A Strong Response to Terror Attack
Recalling the events of last year, PM Modi said Indian forces displayed “exceptional bravery” during Operation Sindoor, which was launched in response to the terror attack on civilians in Pahalgam.
He emphasized that the operation delivered a decisive response to those responsible, reinforcing India’s zero-tolerance approach toward terrorism.
Push for Self-Reliance in Defense Sector
The Prime Minister noted that Operation Sindoor not only demonstrated India’s military strength but also highlighted growing self-reliance in the defense sector.
He said the mission showcased:
- Strong coordination among armed forces
- High levels of operational preparedness
- Advancements in indigenous defense capabilities
PM Modi added that these developments have significantly enhanced India’s national security framework.
‘Commitment to End Terror Ecosystem Remains Strong’
Reiterating India’s long-term stance, PM Modi stated that even a year after the operation, the country remains firmly committed to eliminating terrorism and those who support it.
“Our resolve to dismantle the entire terror ecosystem remains unwavering,” he said, underlining India’s continued vigilance.
Amit Shah Issues Strong Warning to Terror Groups
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also marked the occasion, praising the armed forces for their decisive action.
In a post on X, Amit Shah described Operation Sindoor as a historic symbol of India’s military strength and strategic capability.
He highlighted that the operation reflected:
- Precise strike capabilities of the armed forces
- Critical intelligence inputs from agencies
- Strong political will at the highest level
Amit Shah added that terrorists and their networks were neutralized even beyond borders, sending a clear message of India’s reach.
‘No Safe Haven for Terrorists’: Shah
Issuing a stern warning, the Home Minister said that terrorists cannot escape India’s surveillance and strike capability, regardless of where they hide.
“This day will always remind our enemies of India’s decisive response,” Shah said, while saluting the bravery and sacrifice of the armed forces.
