Washington, D.C. — March 3, 2026

The United States House of Representatives committee investigating matters related to Jeffrey Epstein has released video recordings of testimony given by former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The closed-door depositions were conducted under oath over two days last week. The recordings are now public as part of the committee’s ongoing review of individuals connected to Epstein, who was convicted in 2008 on charges involving a minor and later faced federal sex trafficking charges before his death in 2019.

Bill Clinton: “Relationship Was Limited”

During hours of questioning, Bill Clinton stated that his association with Epstein was limited and ended years before Epstein’s 2008 conviction in Florida.

Clinton told lawmakers he had severed ties with Epstein well before the financier pleaded guilty in a case involving solicitation of a minor. He said he was unaware of any alleged trafficking activities during the period they were acquainted.

“I never had any conversations with him about young girls,” Clinton stated in the recorded testimony, adding that he would not have maintained contact had he known of criminal conduct.

Lawmakers also questioned Clinton about a recently surfaced photograph showing him at a swimming pool with a woman during a trip to Brunei. Clinton said he did not know the woman and denied any inappropriate relationship, describing the setting as a public group event.

He characterized his connection with Epstein as “cordial but not close.”

Hillary Clinton: “I Do Not Recall Meeting Him”

Hillary Clinton, who also appeared before the committee, said she does not recall ever meeting Epstein.

She further testified that she had no knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities or those of his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, who was later convicted on federal charges related to sex trafficking.

Her testimony echoed earlier public statements in which she denied awareness of any wrongdoing.

Trump’s Name Mentioned in Testimony

The name of current President Donald Trump surfaced during questioning.

Bill Clinton recounted a brief conversation roughly two decades ago at a charity golf event where Epstein was mentioned. According to Clinton, Trump did not make any statements suggesting knowledge of illegal activity.

Clinton also referenced a later dispute between Trump and Epstein reportedly related to a real estate matter.

Republican lawmakers argued that Clinton’s testimony indicates no evidence implicating Trump. Democratic members, however, suggested the broader record presents a more complex picture.

Ongoing Congressional Review

Members of Congress are examining what various public figures knew — or did not know — regarding Epstein’s actions and whether any warning signs were overlooked.

The release of the testimony videos has renewed political debate in Washington as lawmakers continue reviewing documents and witness statements tied to the case.
