Tamil Nadu and Puducherry
Coastal districts are likely to receive heavy rainfall over the next 24 to 48 hours. Localized waterlogging in low-lying areas cannot be ruled out.
Andhra Pradesh
Coastal regions such as Nellore and Machilipatnam may experience gusty winds accompanied by rain showers.
Kerala
A “Yellow Alert” has been issued for several coastal and interior districts, indicating the possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall.
Advisory for Fishermen
According to the IMD, wind speeds over the southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of the Arabian Sea are expected to range between 45–55 km/h, with gusts potentially reaching 65 km/h.

Those currently at sea should return to the nearest coast immediately.
