Held from January 6 to 9, the world’s largest consumer electronics show featured major announcements from LG, Samsung, Lenovo, Intel, Nvidia, and dozens of emerging companies.

Among the standout reveals was LG’s W6 Wallpaper TV, an ultra-thin 9mm OLED display designed to mount flush against the wall, blending seamlessly into living spaces like framed artwork. The design underscored LG’s push toward minimalist, art-first home technology.

Samsung also introduced the Movingstyle M7, a portable wireless 4K touchscreen mounted on a rolling stand, aimed at flexible work and entertainment use.

On January 9, CES organizers announced the Best of CES 2026 Awards, selected by more than 40 journalists from Mashable, CNET, PCMag, ZDNET, Lifehacker, IGN, and other leading outlets.

LG also showcased its CLOiD home robot, designed to assist with chores such as laundry and household organization.

Artificial intelligence was central across the show. Best AI honors went to Lenovo Motorola Qira, a hybrid AI assistant spanning devices. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang unveiled the Vera Rubin superchip during a keynote focused on AI acceleration, while AMD predicted AI adoption could reach five billion users globally. Intel introduced its Core Ultra 300 Series “Panther Lake” chips, delivering advanced graphics and up to 27 hours of laptop battery life.
