Priyanka Chopra continues to strengthen her global presence as the actor unveiled her first look from the upcoming Hollywood film The Bluff, offering fans a glimpse into her intense new role.
The actor shared multiple images from the film on Instagram, showcasing her transformation into a fierce pirate character. Captioning the post, Chopra wrote, “Mother. Protector. Pirate. Meet Bloody Mary.” The images feature her in strikingly different moods—from wielding a sword in combat to holding a blood-stained gun, and even sharing quieter moments seated with family at a dining table.
In The Bluff, Priyanka Chopra portrays Arsel Boden, infamously known as Bloody Mary, a former pirate determined to leave her violent past behind. Set in the late 1800s, the film follows her journey as she is forced to confront old enemies when former allies return seeking revenge and stolen treasure.
To prepare for the role, Chopra reportedly studied real-life female pirates, drawing inspiration from historical accounts to shape the character’s physicality and emotional depth.
The Russo Brothers-backed film stars Karl Urban in a leading role alongside Chopra. Directed by Frank E. Flowers and co-written with Joe Ballarini, The Bluff blends action, adventure, and historical drama.
Priyanka’s husband, singer-actor Nick Jonas, also showed his support by sharing her look on Instagram Stories. He wrote that he was excited for the world to witness how powerful and impressive Chopra appears in the film.
The Bluff is scheduled to premiere globally on Prime Video on February 25, 2026. The cast also includes Temuera Morrison as Quartermaster Lee, along with Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, Jack Morris, David Field, Vedanten Naidoo, and others.
