Singapore — November 30, 2025 :
Singapore has secured the No. 1 ranking in the 2025 Global Talent Competitiveness Index, according to an INSEAD report released on November 28, 2025. The city-state’s pro-innovation policies, streamlined immigration pathways, and robust education ecosystem continue to make it the world’s top destination for high-skilled professionals.
According to the report, Singapore attracted 20% more high-skill foreign workers—comparable to H-1B-level talent—during 2025, driven by competitive salaries, research incentives, and flexible work policies. Economists estimate that this influx of human capital could boost Singapore’s GDP growth by nearly 2% in the coming year.
The government’s focus on AI, biotech, and green technologies has further strengthened its appeal, with companies reporting faster hiring cycles and a deeper global talent pool. Analysts note that Singapore’s continued dominance underscores Asia’s rising role in global innovation hubs.
