Governor Haribhau Bagde, at the Constitution Club, Rajasthan Assembly Building, says “Making India a developed nation is everyone’s wish.”

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sammelan (Developed India Resolution Conference) was held today at the Constitution Club in Jaipur. The event was attended by Governor Haribhau Bagde, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, Dr. Mahesh Sharma and Professor D.P. Sharma. During the conference, speakers highlighted the ‘Nation First’ ethos as the core principle for building a developed India. Discussions also focused on India’s growing global role and its increasing international significance. A variety of thinkers and experts participated, sharing their ideas and suggestions for making India a developed nation.

Governor Haribhau Bagde stated that ‘Nation First’ is not just a slogan, but a feeling and an idea connected to patriotism. He noted that America is constantly plotting to put pressure on India, but it lacks its own talent, with 70 to 80 percent of its talented professionals being of Indian origin. Bagde said the ‘Nation First’ sentiment is reflected in the rapid and major decisions being made under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He highlighted that 250 million Jan Dhan accounts have been opened in banks across the country, a feat unprecedented elsewhere. He also cited the hoisting of the national flag at Lal Chowk in Kashmir 47 years after independence as an example of the ‘Nation First’ spirit.
Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani described the nation as an idea and a living philosophy. He urged everyone to use only Indian products as part of the ‘Nation First’ initiative. He emphasized the importance of being ready to fulfill one’s duties and prioritizing the nation above all else. He also stressed the need to instill a national spirit and values-based education in school curricula and among teachers.

On this occasion, international professor, scientist and digital diplomat associated with United Nations Dr. D.P. Sharma credited Dr. Mahesh Sharma with the responsibility of advancing this project. He stated that this resolution is a step towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.

He noted that since independence, the focus has been on individual progress and development, with no concerted effort to center the ‘Nation First’ mindset. It is Prime Minister Modi’s dream that every Indian, while pursuing personal growth, also prioritizes the nation. The main objective of this project is to enable India to stand on par with countries like America and China. Speakers at the conference called for making the ‘Nation First’ concept the foundation for building a developed India.
