Middle East – : At least 21 people were injured across Israel on Sunday morning after Iran launched a barrage of missiles just hours after the United States bombed key Iranian nuclear facilities.
Four of the victims suffered serious injuries, according to emergency response teams.

Multiple cities were hit, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, Be’er Yaakov, and Nes Ziona, as Iran responded to the week-long joint Israeli-American offensive targeting its nuclear infrastructure.

Search teams were working through debris in Tel Aviv following the collapse of a building believed to have been struck by an Iranian missile. Local reports indicated that individuals may still be trapped beneath the rubble.

According to a statement from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Iran fired approximately 30 missiles toward Israeli territory during the early morning hours. The IDF acknowledged that no sirens sounded in Haifa despite a direct hit, and confirmed it is reviewing whether there was a failure in its interceptor systems. Officials clarified that the national alert system functioned properly, and prior warnings had been issued.

The missile launch followed a dramatic escalation triggered by U.S. airstrikes on three major Iranian nuclear sitesFordo, Isfahan, and Natanz—late Saturday night. The strikes came after more than a week of violent clashes between Iran and Israel.

American forces deployed three B-2 stealth bombers, each carrying two bunker-busting bombs, to destroy underground structures at the Fordo nuclear site. Meanwhile, Tomahawk missiles launched from U.S. submarines struck the Isfahan and Natanz facilities, both of which had sustained prior damage in recent Iranian operations.

Since the launch of Israel’s “Operation Rising Lion”, Tehran has retaliated with over 450 missiles and 400 combat drones, according to Israel’s National Public Diplomacy Directorate. The campaign has led to 24 Israeli fatalities, all reported in the initial days of Iranian counterstrikes.

Inside Iran, the Human Rights Activists in Iran, a Washington-based watchdog group, reported that 722 people have died as a result of Israeli airstrikes. The organization, which relies on sources throughout Iran, said that Israeli strikes have hit 25 of Iran’s 31 provinces, signaling the broad geographic scope of the military campaign.
