Most parts of the peninsula, west-central India, east-central India and parts of Northeast India are expected to receive above normal rainfall i.e. more than 131 percent of the long LPA. The southern peninsula of India includes Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala and south interior Karnataka. The average rainfall here is being reflected in the entire country. Otherwise, there will not be much rain in other parts of the country.
