The Meteorological Department has told in its tweet that there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh for the next two days. Due to this, cold weather is expected to increase in the area. There is a possibility of snowfall in Uttarakhand too. On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain in some areas of Punjab. According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation lies over Kerala coast and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea.
Due to its impact, moderate to heavy rain and thundershowers are possible over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe in the next 24 hours.
