New Delhi – The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted that the cold will increase after November 15 and dense fog may occur from November 21. After this warning, the Indian Railways has decided to cancel many major trains of Uttarakhand during winter.
The reason for this decision of the Railways is the low visibility and potential accident risk due to increased fog in winter. Some important trains, such as Howrah-Dehradun Upasana Express (12327/28) and Varanasi-Dehradun Janta Express (15119/20) will be canceled from December 3 to March 1, 2025.
