Volkswagen Motorsport India begins registration for Drivers’ Selection for Ameo Cup 2018

Volkswagen Motorsport India announces the start of registrations for the Drivers’ Selection for the 9th edition of the premium one make series run by Volkswagen in India. To be hosted as part of the MMSC-FMSCI Indian National Racing Championship, the one-make series of Volkswagen Ameo Cup 2018will go across to all the racetracks in the country, namely the Madras Motor Race Track near Chennai, Kari Motor Speedway near Coimbatore and India’s only F1 racetrack, the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida.

The format of the Volkswagen Ameo Cup 2018 will remain the same as the recently concluded Volkswagen AmeoCup 2017series that provided young racing talent in India a platform to display and nurture their racing skills. In total, the AmeoCup 2017 saw participation from over 20different drivers from different parts of the country and some from global racing fraternity.

The drivers applying for the 2018 season will be put through special Drivers’ Selection round to be held at the Indi Karting Track in Kharadi, Pune on 27th & 28th January this year.
