V.Srinivas IAS Additional Secretary DARPG was felicitated by the Chief Minister, Govt of Rajasthan with a merit 
certificate and cash award for academic excellence in public finance for authoring a book on “India’s Relations with the International Monetary Fund: 25 Years in Perspective, 1991-2016”, at the State Level Independence Day Function at SMS Stadium Jaipur on August 15, 2019
The book was launched by Governor Reserve Bank Of India Shri Shaktikanta Das on July 26, 2019. V.Srinivas in his book presented the importance of multilateralism in handling the global economy and India’s role as a founding member of IMF to take forward the financial globalization movement. He has highlighted the critical role of the IMF as a lender of last resort, handling major global crisis including India’s economic crisis of 1966, 1981 and 1991
